Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how ConferIQ uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Legal notice. Contact: [email protected].
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage for preferences (e.g. cookie consent choices).
How we use cookies
Essential (always active)
These are required for the Service to function. You cannot turn them off in our cookie settings.
- ciq_session — keeps you signed in after authentication.
- ciq_csrf — helps protect against cross-site request forgery on forms and requests.
- OAuth / sign-in state — short-lived cookies or session data when you use supported identity providers (e.g. Google sign-in), only during the login flow.
Preference
- ciq_cookie_consent_v1 (local storage) — remembers your cookie choices (essential / analytics / marketing).
- theme / UI preferences (local storage) — e.g. light/dark theme and navigation layout, where stored locally in your browser.
Analytics (optional)
Only placed if you accept analytics cookies in the banner or cookie settings. We do not use optional analytics cookies until you consent. If we enable them in the future, this section will list the specific tools and retention periods.
Marketing (optional)
Only placed if you accept marketing cookies. The current application does not rely on marketing cookies for core functionality.
Managing cookies
Use in the footer, or the banner when it appears. You can also clear cookies via your browser settings; essential cookies will be set again when you sign in.
Updates
We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. See the date below for the latest version.
